U.S. to release review of Toyota throttles (Reuters)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Obama administration module promulgation on weekday the findings of its daylong awaited review of Toyota Motor Corp's electronic throttles over complaints of inadvertent acceleration.
The Transportation Department said in the early stages of the enquiry that it had not bare some systematic defect in the code driven systems in Toyota or Lexus vehicles.
Transportation officials on weekday did not provide some details most the test conclusions of country investigators and space authority engineers who spent 10 months hunting at the issue.
The review was prompted by two bounteous Toyota recalls in 2009 and 2010 over inadvertent speed and accusations that regulators for eld did not enquiry the maker intimately enough for safety.
Toyota has said its throttles are sound and that inadvertent speed was linked to equipment and machinelike problems with accelerator pedals and floormats that were identified in the match recalls of more than 8 meg vehicles worldwide.
