CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – President Barack Obama visited Cape Canaveral Friday, despite NASA postponing the start of the expanse shuttle Endeavour.

Obama and his family had designed to check the second-to-last expanse shuttle launch. Instead, the president was to journeying an orbiter processing facility at NASA.

Mark Kelly, economise of injured Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, is commander of the shuttle flight. Giffords was in Florida for the launch, but it was unclear whether Obama would still meet with her.

NASA said the next start attempt would be Monday at the earliest.

From Cape Canaveral, Obama was to nous to south Florida to deliver a outset come at Miami Dade College.
