WILMINGTON, Del. – The crusade for past Senate politician Christine O'Donnell has filed amendments to fundraising reports filed in 2009 and 2010 with a attorney blaming computer code for mistakes on them.

The Algonquin Republican also filed her fundraising inform for the prototypal quarter of this year. The amendments and the 2011 inform became public Thursday at the Senate Office of Public Records.

O'Donnell — a tea party selection who forfeited to Democrat Chris Coons in Nov — has visaged scrutiny over her crusade practices.

In a memo to the Federal Election Commission, attorney Cleta Mitchell wrote that because of a code problem, receipts and payments that should have been linked to the 2010 direct were mistakenly linked to the generalized election. Mitchell says the crusade revised the reports because of that and other mistakes that were found.
