WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's pick to advance the Democratic band says voters see that a compounding of outlay cuts and set hikes will be necessary to alter down the nation's debt.

Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz says "most Americans see ... mutual kill is feat to be necessary."

Wasserman Schultz told NBC's "Today" that it's "wrong" to ask seniors to pay more for Medicare patch rich Americans are getting super set breaks.

The long-term budget proposal Obama declared Wednesday includes cuts to Medicare and higher taxes for wealthier people. The competition party organisation would alter Medicare into a voucher-like grouping patch avoiding set hikes.

Still, Wasserman Schultz said, Democrats "are ready for compromise."

Earlier this month, Obama nominated Wasserman Schultz to head the Democratic National Committee.
