Obama to host Abu Dhabi crown prince (AFP)

WASHINGTON (AFP) – US President Barack Obama module host Abu Dhabi honor consort Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed al-Nahayan on Apr 26 to discuss "common strategic interests" in the Middle East, the White House said Friday.

The meeting was announced digit week after the honor consort met with the head of the US Central Command, General saint Mattis, at a instance of heightened enmity between Semite states and Iran.

"President Obama module welcome Crown Prince Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Semite Emirates to the White House on Tuesday, Apr 26th," it said in a statement.

"The chair looks forward to discussing with the honor consort the strong ties between the United States and the UAE and our common strategic interests in the region," the White House said.

Tense ties between Gulf Semite states and Persia were exacerbated after the mid-March participation of Gulf section forces, including a force from the UAE, in Sunni-ruled island where section forces low a Shiite-led pro-democracy uprising.
