WASHINGTON (Reuters) – In a semipolitical setback for President Barack Obama, the United States said on weekday it would essay self-professed Sept 11 intellectual Khalid Sheikh Muhammad and quaternary co-conspirators in a military commission at Guantanamo Bay and not in a U.S. civil suite as Obama hoped.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder told a programme conference the selection was necessary because legislature had imposed "unwise and unwarranted restrictions" that closed the administration from transfer some Guantanamo detainees to trial in the United States.
